I have been trying to get my 2 cars to use this toilet seat since Fedurary. It took 3 months to get them to deficate on it. I got one of them to start using it all the time (the other one still won’t use it). I took the first ring out, now niether cat will use it. They are back to deficating all over the apartment AGAIN! Do you have anymore advise on how to get them to use this seat. I have tried everything I can think of, and nothing is working. I am about ready to give up on this product and go back to a liter box.please help!

      Hi, Brian.
Sorry to hear you are having problems with the training. You may want to put the seat on the floor. Place the absorbent pad underneath the seat and fill the seat with our cat litter. We had problems with our kitten, as when we removed second tray she refused to use it, then we put the seat on the floor and she started to use it again. We left the seat on the floor for a week and then attached it to the bowl again. This is one of the options. We recommend you use the C.O.T odor eliminator spray because it really works great neutralizing odors and we have great feedback about it, also do not forget reward your cats when they use the seat and, even if you found them defecating else where, put it on the seat and show it to them, give them a treat.
Please, don`t hesitate to contact us if you have more questions.
      Thank you,

I have been home with my cat for 3 full days and I believe she is “holding” her bladder to keep from using the seat. Is this possible? I have used the light and have found NO accidents. Also, the instructions say to place a small bit of litter from her box onto the new litter so she will know it is her place, yet everything else says to get RID of all odors, including hers. Is she not getting it because there is old litter there?

  • Brian says:

Thsnk you, your advise from 2 months ago. It worked for one cat but not the other who has never deficated on it. I have the last ring on there now, but now niether cat will use it again. The one who was using it is now using the carpet & my bed again. I have reached my limit on the training (now going on 9 months with no head way on them ever going to be fully using it). If you have anymore advise I am willing to try before I give up (as I do believe it this product) and go back to the dredded litterbox. I am just tired of picking up poop & pee on my bed and all over my apartment.

    • Norman Strohdach says:

      Hello, Brian.
If you still have one ring left then you may still have the clips that can reattach the ring from stage 4 to stage 5. So, my advice would be to reattach the rings and stay with this stage for a couple of weeks. With your second cat i would recommend to train him separately, if you have another bathroom available. We can ship you a second seat and the absorbent pads, to start training with your second cat on the floor.
Let me know if you have further questions.
      Thank you.

It’s now December 2014. Although I’ve not been happy with the many delays in the past two or more years since I purchased mine, I still am anxious to try your kitty pot. No one has contacted me since my April post. Please reply to me. Happy cats are my business! Thank you.

    • Norman Strohdach says:

We are apologizing for the delay and inconvenience. We had a difficult time bringing our product to the market. We will ship you the whole Cats Of Thrones kit ($75) value. It includes the cat seat, 2lbs of dissolving cat litter, 0,5 oz cat treat, 0,5 oz odor and stain eliminator concentrate and a urine light detector. Please, give us your mailing address and we will ship it out to you shortly.
Thank you so much for your patience.
